La Buena Vida (July 2004)

Beach Restaurant on Half Moon Bay, The Mexican Riviera

This image was taken from one side of the road sign that pointed at a really nice beach restaurant located on Half Moon Bay, on the Mexican Rivera. (Located just south of Playa Del Carmen, a nice but rapidly expanding beach town.)

Those of you who think you know something, do the rest of us a favor any stay up in Cancun to chew gum and act loud, deal?

La Buena Vida Restaurant, a great location to kick back and enjoy life. A nice drink can't hurt in a place like this, eh? (In the late afternoon, it was too early for beer or margaritas.)
Half Moon Bay... Do us a favor: Stay Away.
And here, is the actual sign as we saw it. This is definitely a place where you can sink into obscurity and spend your retirement money until the next hurricane moves your outfit across the way. But hey, it's only life and who would want to ruin the fun with hypothetical whatifs?

Mexico is great, but you might want a contingency plan, or at least a relaxed attitude to help you deal with ferries that no longer run... Whatever...
